6.45am register for 7 am start.
Thanks to Compumedics, the 2024 Sleep DownUnder Fun Run will take place along the beautiful Gold Coast beachfront.
The start and finish area will be at one of the picnic shelters just to the left of the Kurrawa SLSC club house (when facing the ocean), approx. 800m from the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre.
You can run or walk along the track next to the beach from near the Kurrawa SLSC in a northerly direction. There is the choice of distances - a short (~ 3 km), medium (~ 6 km) and long (~ 9 km). All are out and back.
The turn around points will be at specific life saving towers, each of which are numbered, and they are large, yellow and easy to spot.
There will be placegetter medals for each distance.
Compumedics will give each person a running singlet, and they will provide water and breakfast.
Compumedics will make a donation to the Rob Pierce fund of ten dollars per participant.
