Registration Terms and Conditions

• Full payment for registration fees must be received prior to the Meeting.
• All prices are in Australian dollars and include Goods and Services Tax of 10%. 
• If you cancel your registration prior to 13 August 2024 your fee will be refunded less a cancellation fee of $150.  Cancellations made after 13 August 2024 are non-refundable.  
• The Privacy Act 1988 provides that, before your name and contact details can be published in a list of participants you must give your consent.  If you select ‘Yes, I do want my details to be included in the list of participants’ on the registration form or by email, your details may be distributed to:
  • Meeting delegates, sponsors and exhibitors       
  • Organisers of future Australasian Sleep Association events
• If, for reasons beyond the control of the Organising Committee, the Meeting is cancelled, registration fees will be refunded after the deduction of expenses already incurred.
• By registering for the Meeting you are confirming consent for any video and photographs taken at the Meeting, in which you may appear, to be used by the Association in promotion of the Meeting.
• By registering for the Meeting, you are consenting for your data to be used as per the Data Consent Policy. If you decide against your data being used, your registration will be cancelled less the cancellation fee above.

Information Presented at the Meeting 
The information presented at the Meeting is solely intended for Health Care Professionals. 
You understand and agree that you are being provided with the information for educational and informational purposes only and that information will be provided to educate you on the latest scientific, clinical, therapeutic and educational advancements. 
You understand and agree that whilst the content is accessible worldwide, some content may be applicable to particular regions only, such as Australia and New Zealand. 

Although the Client/Association strives to present only current and accurate information at its Meeting, you agree not to solely rely on this information or consider it to be any form of professional advice without additional independent review of its accuracy, completeness, efficacy, and timeliness. 
Any decisions as to how you use this information is in your sole discretion and the Association will not be liable for any issues that may arise from such use. 

Participant Conduct
You will conduct yourself in a professional manner that is free from any form of discrimination, harassment, or retaliation.
You will treat all participants with respect and consideration to create a collegial, respectful, inclusive, and professional environment at the Sleep DownUnder Meeting 2024.

Legal Claim 
This agreement is subject to the law of Australia. In the event of any legal claims arising from either party, Australia shall be the sole court of jurisdiction. 

Programme 
The Association reserve the right to modify the program, which is published as an indication only. 

Accommodation Terms and Conditions (if applicable)

• Prices are in Australian dollars and include Goods and Services tax of 10%. 
• A credit card guarantee is taken at the time of booking. The credit card will be charged by the hotel as specified below.
• Rates provided for each of the hotels are specific to the Meeting dates only.  

Avani Broadbeach Residences 

• A credit card guarantee for the full stay is required to secure your booking. The credit card details submitted on this booking form will be securely transferred to the hotel to charge full payment of your accommodation on or after Monday, 16 September 2024. If you make your booking after Monday, 16th September, your credit card will be charged for your full stay immediately. 
• If you cancel your booking on or after Monday, 16th September, or fail to check-in on the arrival date you have specified this payment will not be refunded.
• Room configurations are subject to availability. The requested configuration will be sent to the hotel but cannot be guaranteed.
• You will be responsible for settling any additional nights booked and any incidentals incurred upon departure. Please be advised the hotel may apply a surcharge to all credit card payments, payment by cash or EFTPOS will not incur a surcharge.
• Check-in time is 3pm. Check-out time is 11am.

Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise

• A credit card guarantee for the full stay is required to secure your booking. The credit card details submitted on this booking form will be securely transferred to the hotel to charge payment for one night of your accommodation on or after Monday, 16 September 2024. If you make your booking after Monday, 16th September, your credit card will be charged for your one night of your stay immediately. The remaining room charges will be required on check in to the hotel.
• If you cancel your booking on or after Monday, 16th September, or fail to check-in on the arrival date you have specified this payment will not be refunded.
• Room configurations are subject to availability. The requested configuration will be sent to the hotel but cannot be guaranteed.
• You will be asked to provide credit card details for pre-authorisation on check in.  If you do not wish to use your credit card then alternatively you can pay a deposit on check in.

The remaining room charges will be required on check in to the hotel.
• If you cancel your booking on or after Monday, 16th September, or fail to check-in on the arrival date you have specified this payment will not be refunded, as well as all nights cancelled will be charged to this card.
• Room configurations are subject to availability. The requested configuration will be sent to the hotel but cannot be guaranteed.
• You will be asked to provide credit card details for pre-authorisation on check in.  If you do not wish to use your credit card then alternatively you can pay a deposit on check in.

If you make your booking after Monday, 16th September, your credit card details will be transferred to the hotel immediately and full payment will be quired on check-in.
• If you cancel your booking on or after Monday, 16th September, or fail to check-in on the arrival date you have specified payment for your full accommodation stay will be charged to the credit card provided.
