Details
This workshop will present the Te Manu Ka Rere support initiative, a targeted programme designed to support secondary schools, leaders, and kaiako to strengthen outcomes in the NCEA Literacy and Numeracy Co-requisite assessments.
Participants will explore the responsive support model developed through the initiative and examine how it has supported shifts in practice across participating schools. The session will share evidence of progress and improvement, drawing on analysis of Common Assessment Activities (CAA) outcomes alongside insights from participating schools captured through end-of-year feedback.
The workshop will highlight key learnings from the initiative and demonstrate how targeted, collaborative support can strengthen assessment practice and student success. Participants will also gain practical strategies and planning approaches to support ongoing improvement, build capability, and sustain progress in their own school contexts.
