Details
PAT Tuhituhi |Writing is the newest assessment in NZCER’s suite of literacy tools. The assessment is an online, standardised writing assessment for ākonga from Year 5 to Year 10. Students submit written responses through our NZCER Assist platform, and automated scoring provides teachers with immediate scoring and feedback. This draws on a set of genre-specific rubrics adapted specifically for the Aotearoa context.
This interactive workshop will have a look at the tool construct, writing process in the online tool, the genre-based rubrics and how to use the information in the reports to support teaching and learning. We will discuss the development of the Year 3 – 4 paper-based writing tool. Come and have an exploration of this exciting new tool.
