Biography

Keita Durie (Ngāti Kauwhata, Rangitāne, Ngāiterangi) and Hinemaia Kupenga-Keefe (Ngāti Porou, Ngāti Pāhauwera) are Māori researchers with the Te Wāhanga research unit at NZCER. Their work focuses on Māori education and leadership, with a commitment to research and evaluation that upholds Māori aspirations in education through Kaupapa Māori approaches.
