The biggest thing we learn from our young people on the Spirit of New Zealand, over ten days, is when you have the courage to embrace vulnerability amazing things happen. You discover your true self and you realise you have the ability to achieve so much more. What can we learn from this and how do we apply it to our leadership and business!

Biography

Bruce has been the CEO of Spirit of Adventure Trust for five years. He has a background in marketing and transformation with many years of experience in cause related work and a deep desire to positively impact the youth culture in New Zealand. Bruce has held a number of board roles in The Parenting Place and Parenting with Confidence Trust, a large NGO working with families and young people. He was the Chairman of ZEAL for 10 years, an organisation using the arts as a positive influence with troubled youth, as well as the Kids for Kids Charitable Trust Board, he was also Deputy Chief Family's Commissioner 2008 to 2010. Bruce has completed two of the Spirit of Adventure 10-day voyages and a 5-day trophy voyage during his tenure.
