Biography
Alex founded Fair Pay Negotiations a negotiation coaching business, after returning from New Zealand in 2021, where she led the $1.2bn post-earthquake recovery programme for te Whare Wānanga o Waitaha, the University of Canterbury in Christchurch. She works with senior women to develop their negotiating confidence and skills to secure better pay, better conditions and senior career opportunities. Alex also works with teams to develop their approach to business relationships and commercial contracting for impact. She is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in negotiation coaching and strategic leadership. She brings over 30 years of experience in conflict resolution, technology, construction and property, business transformation and cultural change. Alex is motivated by supporting the growth and resilience of individuals and communities in extreme and challenging circumstances. Alex is also the Non-Indigenous Co-Chair of Reconciliation Queensland.
