Details
Difficult conversations are an inevitable part of clinical practice. This short reflective workshop considers what makes specific clinical conversations difficult and for whom, and presents a behavioural perspective that views these difficulties as a function of individuals learning histories, distal and proximal situational factors, and consequent events. With guided reflective tasks and group discussions, participants may discover what they need to do to build confidence, and have compassion for self- and their client/s when approaching difficult conversations in everyday practice.
