Dr Thomas Ashhurst: Computational analysis of single-cell multiomics data (90 mins)
Dr Thomas Ashhurst: Computational analysis of single-cell multiomics data (90 mins)
Details
In this session, we will explore computational methods for the analysis of single-cell multiomics datasets, specifically assays measuring RNA and protein (e.g. CITE-seq) in the same cells. Specifically we will explore:
• Pre-processing and quality control differences between RNA and protein data
• Multimodal integration and clustering
• Parallel visualisation of multiple modalities
• Comparison of high-dimensional cytometry (CyTOF) and single-cell (CITE-seq) data
This workshop will be delivered in a format specifically tailored to those with some experience in cytometry, drawing on similarities and principles in cytometry to explain comparable concepts in single-cell genomics.
