Chris is a nurse practitioner at Middlemore Hospital running clinics for patient post acute coronary syndrome, heart failure and chest pain. He has an interest in IT solutions for nurses and patients, and is the clinical co-ordinator for the post graduate cardiac nursing course at the University of Auckland.

Biography

Daniel is a Specialist Cardiac Sonographer and Valve Clinic lead in the Echocardiography department at Te Toka Tumai/Auckland Hospital. He came to New Zealand last year from the USA where he focused on structural heart imaging and sonographer education.

Ellen is a Cardiac Sonographer. She is currently undertaking a Post Doctoral Research Fellowship in the Department of Māori and Indigenous Health Innovation at the University of Otago, Christchurch. Biography

Jennifer is a registered nurse with expertise in cardiology. She is Clinical Nurse Manager of Cardiology at Te Whatu Ora, Capital Coast and Hutt Valley, leading a team of specialist nurses. Previously, Jennifer worked in education and regulation as Head of School for Nursing at the Eastern Institute of Technology, a senior academic at Massey University and a policy advisor for the Nursing Council of New Zealand. She is a Master of Nursing and Doctor of Education. She is a Nursing Council Education Accreditation Panel Chair and continues clinical practice in Wellington’s Heart and Lung Unit.

Natalie is an experienced cardiac focussed nurse, working as a nurse practitioner for the last few years across the field of cardiology, and being integral in the development of local and regional services including chest pain clinics, CTCA, AF and cardioversion and heart failure. She is a supportive mentor for her nursing colleagues as well as junior doctors and allied staff.
