Vicki Wade is a senior Noongar woman (nurse) with over 40 years of experience in health at state and national levels. Vicki is a recipient of multiple national awards including the 2019 AHHA Sidney Sax medal and CSANZ Indigenous Health lifetime award for her contributions to Australian health services policy, delivery and research, particularly in relation to Indigenous heart health.

Dr Marangou is a consultant Cardiologist at Royal Perth Hospital and clinical lead for the Kimberley cardiology service. He is a PhD candidate with Menzies School of Health Research. His PhD and current research focus on the implementation and impact of echocardiography screening for rheumatic heart disease during pregnancy care in high-risk populations across Northern Australia and Timor-Leste. Dr Marangou is co-editor of the 2025 Australian ARF/RHD guidelines.

Professor Rachael Cordina is a clinical academic cardiologist with special interests in Adult Congenital Heart Disease, Pulmonary Hypertension, Indigenous Health, Exercise Physiology and Maternal Cardiology. She is a Head of the Adult Congenital Heart Service at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
