This unique competition brings together advanced trainees, fellows, sonographers, cardiac imaging nurses, and radiographers from across Australia and New Zealand in a fun, fast-paced battle of imaging knowledge. Think State of Origin – but with echo clips, CT coronaries, and CMR instead of tries and tackles! Six regional teams (NZ, VIC/TAS, NSW/ACT, QLD, WA, SA/NT) will compete across multiple rounds of Jeopardy-style questions covering all cardiovascular imaging modalities: TTE, TOE, cardiac CT, cardiac MRI, and angiography. Expert teaching pearls will follow each question, making this session both entertaining and educational. Each team will comprise a mix of advanced trainees/fellows and cardiac sonographers, cardiac imaging nurses or radiographers, ensuring multidisciplinary expertise and friendly rivalry. In the lead-up to this State of Origin Jeopardy event, each team will be assigned a state-based Imaging sub-specialist coach to mentor and assist with educational preparation.
