Dr. Noor Alsadat is a second-year cardiology advanced trainee at Concord Repatriation General Hospital in Sydney. She holds a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Sydney and has a background in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Auckland. She has published in leading journals like the Medical Journal of Australia on lipid management post-ACS and the Journal of Invasive Cardiology on STEMI revascularisation strategies. She has an interest in clinical research and medical education and currently serves as a Conjoint Associate Lecturer at the University of Sydney.

Adam Belay is a PhD candidate at the University of Melbourne in the Baker Department of Cardiometabolic Health. His doctoral research focuses on investigating the association between air pollution exposure and subclinical cardiovascular disease. He has authored more than 30 publications in peer-reviewed journals and actively serves as a reviewer for several international journals.

Srisa Boddupalli is a Cardiology Advanced Trainee at Wollongong Hospital. He has a strong interest in education and research. He pursues a well-rounded career in cardiology, with a particular interest in interventional and structural cardiology.

Dr Campbell is a medical registrar undertaking physician training in Australia with a substantial background in cardiovascular biochemistry and translational atherosclerosis research. He holds a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Sydney and both a Master of Science in Cardiovascular Biochemistry by research and Bachelor of Science from McGill University. His research has centred on high-density lipoprotein biology, biochemical characteristics of myocardial infarction, endothelial function, fibroblast growth factor 21, and subclinical atherosclerosis, spanning mechanistic laboratory investigation, cardiovascular risk phenotyping, and clinically relevant translational research. His publications include co-first-author and co-author work in Atherosclerosis, Journal of the American College of Cardiology, Journal of Lipid Research, and Expert Review of Cardiovascular Therapy. He has also received competitive research funding and an equipment competition award, and has delivered prize-winning presentations at national and international meetings, including an invited headlining oral presentation.

Jason Chami is a resident at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, and a PhD candidate under the supervision of Prof David Celermajer. He was a Provost's Scholar at Worcester College Oxford in 2020, and graduated Sydney Medical School in 2024. He is now working with Professor Celermajer to develop the Australian National Congenital Heart Disease Registry

Dane is a second year cardiology advanced trainee at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney Australia. He has an interest in multi-modal imaging and its intersection with electrophysiology.

Dr Philippa Heighes is a Registered Nurse and post-doctoral researcher in the Department of Cardiology at Royal North Shore Hospital, Sydney and affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine and Health, University of Sydney. With a strong focus on person-centred research, Philippa’s current research focuses on novel strategies to enhance knowledge translation and increase evidence uptake amongst clinicians.

Gavin is a cardiology advanced trainee from Western Australia. He is completing his Masters of Research in the utility of imaging on cardiometabolic disease and passionate about multimodal imaging and preventative cardiology.

Dr Ciaran Kelly is a Public Health Medicine Trainee with a strong interest in cardiology, particularly preventive cardiology and health systems strengthening. He holds Master’s degrees in Preventive Cardiology and Public Health, and is actively engaged in research across cardiology, health systems performance, and communicable disease control. His work focuses on integrating preventive approaches into clinical care and population health to improve patient outcomes.

Kevin is currently an Interventionl Fellow at the Royal Perth Hospital with an interest in CHIP/CTO PCI.

Evelyn is currently undertaking a PHD in Cardiology focusing on infiltrative cardiomyopathy.

Stephen Nicholls, Program Director of Monash Heart, Intensive Care and the Victorian Heart Hospital at Monash Health, and Professor of Cardiology and Director of the Victorian Heart Institute - Monash University. A preventive cardiologist, his research spans the translational spectrum, focusing on metabolic risk factors in atherosclerosis, plaque imaging, and development of research acceleration platforms to translate discovery into clinical impact. He has secured more than $165 million in research funding and authored over 1,160 peer reviewed manuscripts, book chapters, and conference proceedings. Professor Nicholls is Immediate Past President of the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand, Past President of the Australian Atherosclerosis Society, and Founding Chair of the Asia Pacific Cardiometabolic Consortium. A Fellow of the Australian Academy of Health and Medical Sciences, received major research awards from leading national and international professional societies, and recognition by Clarivate as one of the World’s Most-Influential Researchers in Clinical Medicine.

Dr Fiona Foo is a Clinical and Interventional Cardiologist who started her Cardiology career >20 years ago as an advanced cardiology trainee at Fremantle Hospital. She completed interventional cardiology fellowships in Edmonton and Glasgow, returning to Australia in 2011. She works with Sydney Cardiology Group, Macquarie University Health and Hospital, Sydney Adventist Hospital and is a Clinical lecturer at Macquarie University. She chairs the CSANZ Planetary Health and Sustainability Working Group, Co-Chairs the Doctors for the Environment Australia (DEA) NSW Committee, and the Macquarie University Health Sustainability Committee. She has written and presented extensively on heart disease in Women, Climate Change and Cardiovascular Disease, and other non-traditional risk factors for cardiovascular disease. She created the HER (Heart, Endocrine, Renal) Health Network at Macquarie University Health and is part of The Skin Hospital Psoriasis Multidisciplinary Clinic. She regularly teaches interventional cardiology in developing countries, such as Nepal and Fiji – having visited CWM Hospital in Suva regularly for more than a decade.
