Professor Ed Nicol KHS MStJ MD MBA DAvMed FRCP FRCR FACC FESC MSCCT is a consultant cardiologist and general internal medicine consultant who works at both the Royal Brompton and Chelsea & Westminster Hospitals in London, UK.
He is head of cardiovascular CT at the Royal Brompton and Harefield hospitals, Professor of Cardiovascular Imaging at King’s College, London, and an honorary fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists. He is an Honorary Surgeon to his Majesty the King and a member of the Venerable Order of St John of Jerusalem.
He is the SCCT Immediate Past-President, previous Chair of the SCCT Education committee and sits on the SCCT Board of Directors. He is past Chair of the UK cardiovascular Imaging Council, is a former Royal College of Radiologists’ Travelling Professor of Cardiovascular Imaging, Past President of the British Society of Cardiovascular Imaging and British Society of Cardiovascular CT.
He is an honorary senior lecturer in Healthcare Leadership at Keele University and has published over 300 original papers, book chapters and books covering cardiovascular CT, cardiology, and healthcare leadership.

Dr. João L. Cavalcante is the Section Head for Cardiac Imaging at the Allina Health Minneapolis Heart Institute at the Abbott Northwestern Hospital, the largest cardiology group practice in the Twin Cities. He is also the Director of MHI Foundation Cardiovascular Imaging Research Center and Core Lab, overseeing many multicentric trials.
His passion for multimodality Imaging and focus on valve and structural heart disease is seen through the lead of multiple RCT in advanced imaging, training of several international scholars, > 200 peer-reviewed original investigations, and several book chapters, training workshops, along with national and international lectures.
He was recently named the Inaugural Innovation Chair of the Van Tassel Innovation Center at the Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation.

Andrew trained as a cardiologist at Green Lane Cardiovascular Service and acquired his multimodality imaging subspecialty expertise at the Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, USA, as the advanced clinical and research fellow. His subspecialty expertise includes cardiovascular computed tomography (CT), cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and echocardiography. He works as a consultant cardiologist in North Shore and Waitakere Hospitals in Auckland, New Zealand.

John is an imaging cardiologist at the Royal Brisbane and at St Andrews War Memorial Hospitals. He established the cardiac CT and CMR programs at the Royal Brisbane Hospital in 2008 and has taught on CT angiography courses in Perth, Adelaide, Sydney, and Singapore. His research has been published in a variety of journals, including The BMJ, The Lancet, and Heart. He was a co-author of the CSANZ position statement on calcium scoring and the national training guidelines of cardiac MRI. He served as a CSANZ representative on the Conjoint Committee for CT Coronary Angiography and he is a past president of ANZ-CMR.

Biography
Dr Arun Dahiya is currently a Staff Cardiologist at Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) and Logan Hospital and previously worked as a staff cardiologist at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH). Arun completed advanced training in Cardiology from Princess Alexandra Hospital. He subsequently undertook a two-year advanced cardiovascular fellowship in multimodality imaging at the Cleveland Clinic, USA (July 2010-July 2012). He is a level three-trained specialist in Echocardiography, Cardiac CT and Cardiac MRI. He is training advanced trainees and cardiac imaging fellows in multimodality imaging.
Dr Julie Humphries

Biography
Dr Julie Humphries completed an Advanced Echocardiography Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic. She has a particular interest in heart failure, with a focus on diastolic heart failure.
Dr Humphries has expertise in the management of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, diseases of the ascending aorta including Marfan syndrome and bicuspid aortic valve aortopathy, and common adult congenital heart diseases, such as bicuspid aortic valve, mitral valve prolapse, ASD and Ebsteins anomaly.
She is locally and internationally recognised for specialist imaging in LAA appendage occlusion procedures and is involved in the structural heart program at The Prince Charles Hospital.
Dr Humphries completed her cardiology training at The Prince Charles Hospital before heading to the USA. She initially trained as an exercise physiologist, has an extensive background in cardiovascular disease and was once the Director of the Wesley Hospital’s cardiac rehabilitation program.
Dr Humphries practices at Greenslopes Private Hospital, she also visits The Prince Charles Hospital on a sessional basis.
