Biography

Prof Wu is a Professor and the Head of the Nutrition Science Program at the George Institute for Global Health, Faculty of Medicine, University of New South Wales. Jason's research and teaching focuses on reducing diet-related diseases through advocating for population-wide food policies, implementing innovative ‘Food is Medicine’ interventions, and determining the role of dietary factors for cardiometabolic diseases prevention.

Biography

Caroline Hill is from the Nutrition & Health Innovation Research Institute at Edith Cowan University in Perth, WA. Her PhD focused on sulfur-based compounds in cruciferous vegetables and their effects on vascular and metabolic outcomes. She is especially interested in the prevention and treatment of inherited high cholesterol, and finding targeted preventive strategies to lower cardiovascular risk across the lifespan. She has previously worked as a Registered Nurse and has experienced the impact of early-age heart disease on families, which drives her interests in this area.

Dr Raeside is a Research Fellow in the Susan Wakil School of Nursing and Midwifery at The University of Sydney. She completed her PhD in public health in 2025. She currently leads the Health4Me randomized controlled trial, testing the effectiveness of a co-designed digital health intervention to improve adolescent cardiovascular protective factors.
