Physiological evaluation of coronary microvascular function in patients with intermediate coronary stenosis through assessment of myocardial blood flow reserve
12:30 PM - 12:35 PMBiography
Having graduated with distinction from The University of Western Australia in 2024 with the Fred Johnston Memorial Prize, Annora is a medical intern working at Fiona Stanley Hospital. She is currently undergoing her MPhil at UWA which interrogates the presence of coronary microvascular dysfunction in patients with intermediate coronary artery stenosis, and this project represents the first chapter of her Master’s thesis. Her previous work includes research investigating radiological markers of frailty in patients following transcatheter aortic valve replacement, for which she was awarded the medical student New Investigator Poster Prize at CSANZ in 2024. As an emerging physician-scientist, Annora is excited about the possibilities for interdisciplinary research collaboration and the use of artificial intelligence in research and medicine.
