Latest advances in VT mapping and ablation: State of the art
10:30 AM - 10:50 AMBiography
Pierre Jaïs, MD a Professor at the Cardiology Hospital, Pessac, France, working with Michel Haïssaguerre in the Rhythmolgy & Cardiac Stimulation Department, co-manages the LIRYC Institute (Electrophysiology and Heart Modeling Institute) and the MUSIC EQUIPEX; both aim to improve knowledge and treatments of electrical dysfunctions of the heart with an extra focus on imaging for MUSIC. Dr. Jaïs is a regular contributor to national and international symposia and has written more than 400 articles, mainly on electrophysiology and RF catheter ablation, particularly focusing on atrial arrhythmias. He is currently working on catheter ablation for atrial and ventricular arrhythmias with special focus on advanced imaging integration and modeling to guide ablation procedures.

Indications and timing for VT ablation
10:50 AM - 11:15 AMBiography
A/Prof Kumar is a cardiologist and electrophysiologist, program director for ventricular arrhythmias and sudden death at Westmead Hospital and Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Sydney. His research interests include genetic basis of ventricular arrhythmias, in particular channelopathies and cardiomyopathies.
Prof Kyoko Soejima
Professor Of Medicine

VT mapping; what are the critical targets and endpoints of ablation?
11:30 AM - 11:45 AMBiography
Dr Nick Jackson studied cardiology and electrophysiology at John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle and at Toronto General Hospital in Canada. He is now a conjoint senior lecturer with the University of Newcastle and a staff specialist at John Hunter Hospital. During this time he has authored over forty peer reviewed articles and book chapters, including work on ventricular fibrillation in explanted human hearts and new mapping techniques for ventricular tachycardia ablation.

Catheter ablation for PVCs originating from the papillary muscles and LV summit: Tips and tricks
11:45 AM - 12:00 PMBiography
Professor Rajeev Pathak is Clinical Director for Cardiac Electrophysiology & Pacing at the Australian National University and The Canberra Heart Rhythm Centre. He is a clinical academic with research interest in complex atrial and ventricular arrhythmias, and physiologic pacing. He leads a dynamic team with his lab performing more than 500 complex ablations per year as well as pacemakers, defibrillators, physiologic pacing and CRT devices. He is the Chair of the CSANZ Ventricular Tachycardia Guidelines and is co-author of national and international guidelines for Atrial Fibrillation; Ventricular Tachycardia; Cardiac Pacing; and Digital Health and Wearable Technology. He is currently the Principal Investigator in several national and international Clinical Trials. Prof Pathak has widely published in the field of Cardiac Electrophysiology with over 100 peer reviewed publications, 700 abstracts and 6300 citations.
