Professor David Brieger is Head of Department of Cardiology at Concord Hospital and Professor of Cardiology, University of Sydney. He has a long standing interest in ACS management and currently co-chairs the writing committee for the update to the CSANZ guidelines for the diagnosis and management of Acute Coronary Syndromes.

Dr Lambert is a heart failure and transplant cardiologist who also has interests in echocardiography and pacing.

Dr Walter Abhayaratna is a consultant cardiologist, Clinical Director and Director of Research Operations and Clinical Trials, Canberra Health Services. His PhD at the Australian National University was in the field of cardiovascular epidemiology and echocardiography, and he is the Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at the Australian National University.

Adam Nelson MBBS MBA/MPH PhD FRACP is an early career interventional cardiologist and clinical triallist appointed at the Royal Adelaide and Queen Elizabeth Hospitals, and clinical academic at the University of Adelaide. He is a clinical lead of national and international trials evaluating emerging cardiometabolic therapies and has an interest in implementation science.

Markus Schlaich is a renal physician and a European Society of Hypertension (ESH) accredited hypertension specialist. He is an International Society of Hypertension (ISH) Fellow, serves on the Management Board of the global ISH May Measurement Month campaign and is Chair of Hypertension Australia and Co-Chair of the National Hypertension Taskforce.

Dr. Michael Miller is a cardiologist, Professor and Vice Chair of Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He has had a longstanding interest in triglyceride metabolism, chaired the AHA scientific statement, “Triglycerides and Cardiovascular Disease (CVD)” and co-authored AHA/ACC statements on Dietary Fats and CVD, Omega-3 Fatty Acids for hypertriglyceridemia (HTG) and the Expert Consensus Decision Pathway on Cardiovascular Risk Reduction in HTG.
