Jae K. Oh, M.D., is a consultant in the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester. He currently serves as director of the Echocardiography Core Laboratory. He is also director of the Pericardial Clinic and co-director of Integrated Cardiac Imaging. Dr. Oh is recognized with the distinction of a named professorship, the Samsung Professorship in Cardiovascular Diseases. He has been working with the Samsung Medical Center for Samsung-Mayo Collaboration and is the Founding General Director of Heart Vascular Stroke Institute at Samsung Hospital in Seoul, Korea. Dr. Oh earned his B.S. degree in biochemistry with honors at the University of Pennsylvania, and his M.D. degree at Pennsylvania State University. He completed a residency in internal medicine, with an outstanding achievement award, and a fellowship in cardiovascular diseases, both at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. Dr. Oh has research interest in all aspects of echocardiography and its use in clinical trials as well as in clinical diagnoses. His research focuses on diastolic function, heart failure related to diastolic dysfunction, valvular heart diseases, pericardial diseases, and artificial intelligence using ECG and Echocardiography. He has established noninvasive Mayo Clinic diagnostic criteria for constrictive pericarditis and the concept of transient constriction. Dr. Oh is also passionate about pursuing multimodality imaging in cardiovascular diseases. He is frequently invited to give presentations on his research both domestically and internationally and has authored over 500 manuscripts. He has published 4 editions of “The Echo Manual” which has become a standard textbook for echocardiography. In recognition of his work, Dr. Oh has received many awards and honors, including the Cardiovascular Teacher of the Year for several years and Most Outstanding Mentor Award in Internal Medicine, conferred by Mayo Clinic, and named Lectureships (the William Gaash Lecture, Euro Echo Lecture, Edler Lecture at the EACVI, Echo Seoul, HB Callejo 1st Memorial Lecture in Philippine) Dr. Oh has received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the European Society of Cardiology Myocardial-Pericardial working group and the 10th Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Society of Echocardiography in June of 2019.

Professor Susanna Price is a consultant cardiologist and intensivist based at Royal Brompton Hospital. She trained at King's College London, and continued training in cardiology and intensive care medicine at a number of centres, including St Thomas', St George's and Royal Brompton hospitals, London. During her cardiology training, she undertook a fellowship in echocardiography at the Thoraxcenter under Jos Roelandt. On completion of her training, she was awarded the Jill Dando GUCH fellowship, allowing her to train for a further two years in imaging and management of the critically ill grown-up congenital heart disease (GUCH) patients.

Faraz Pathan is a Multi-Modality Imaging Cardiologist and Clinician Scientist with research focus on obesity and cardiovascular imaging and how the sum of environmental exposures (the exposome) impacts cardiovascular health.

Tony Stanton is a Senior Staff Specialist in Cardiology practicing on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. He has particular interests in cardiac imaging and academic cardiology.

Michael has spent the last 17 years working at the Prince Charles Hospital with 13 years as the senior cardiac scientist for the cardiac catheter laboratory. He is a published author of multiple journal articles and is currently completing his PhD in cardiovascular medicine. Michael has a particular interest in intravascular imaging and primary intervention for heart attacks. He is also a guest lecturer for Griffith University.

John Atherton (MBBS, PhD, FRACP, FCSANZ, FHFA) is a Pre-eminent Staff Specialist and Director of Cardiology at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH) and Professor, Faculty of Medicine, University of Queensland.

Dr Manali Jain is a Consultant Cardiologist with expertise in multi-modality cardiac imaging. She completed advanced training in Auckland, NZ followed by fellowship training at Leeds General Infirmary UK. She holds public appointments at Royal Perth & Armadale Hospitals, and works privately with Western Radiology and Cardio Vascular Services.
