Registration Terms and Conditions

  • Full payment for registration fees must be received prior to the Meeting.
  • All prices are in Australian dollars and include Goods and Services Tax of 10%. 
  • If you cancel your registration on or prior to Monday 5 June 2023 you will receive a refund less a cancellation fee of AUD100. Cancellations made after this date are non-refundable.
  • The Privacy Act 1988 provides that, before your name and contact details can be published in a list of participants you must give your consent.  If you select ‘Yes, I do want my details to be included in the list of participants’ on the registration form or by email, your details may be distributed to:
    • Meeting delegates, sponsors and exhibitors (note that if consent is given to have your details included in the List of Participants, it is likely that sponsors may add you to their mailing lists and send promotional emails to you)             
    • Organisers of future CSANZ/ANZET events
  • If, for reasons beyond the control of the Organising Committee, the Meeting is cancelled, registration fees will be refunded after the deduction of expenses already incurred.
  • By registering for the Meeting you are confirming consent for any video and photographs taken at the Meeting, in which you may appear, to be used by the Association in promotion of the Meeting.
  • By registering for the Meeting, you are consenting for your data to be used as per the “Personal Data Collected” terms below. If you decide against your data being used, your registration will be cancelled less the cancellation fee above.

We ask for your personal data to facilitate your participation in this event. Your data will be used solely for this event and under no circumstances be sold or used for other purposes.
Your personal data will be automatically anonymised 24 months after the conclusion of this event.

Information Presented at the Meeting

The information presented at the Meeting is solely intended for Health Care Professionals. 

You understand and agree that you are being provided with the information for educational and informational purposes only and that information will be provided to educate you on the latest scientific, clinical, therapeutic and educational advancements. 

You understand and agree that whilst the content is accessible worldwide, some content may be applicable to particular regions only, such as Australia and New Zealand. 


Although the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand strives to present only current and accurate information at its Meeting, you agree not to solely rely on this information or consider it to be any form of professional advice without additional independent review of its accuracy, completeness, efficacy, and timeliness. 

Any decisions as to how you use this information is in your sole discretion and Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand will not be liable for any issues that may arise from such use. 

Participant Conduct

You will conduct yourself in a professional manner that is free from any form of discrimination, harassment, or retaliation.
You will treat all participants with respect and consideration to create a collegial, respectful, inclusive, and professional environment at the CSANZ ASM and ANZET Meetings.

Legal Claim

This agreement is subject to the law of Australia. In the event of any legal claims arising from either party, Australia shall be the sole court of jurisdiction. 

Programme

The Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand reserve the right to modify the program, which is published as an indication only. 

Recordings 

The CSANZ plans to record the selected Meeting sessions, which will be made available after the Meeting to registrants. 

Photography

Photographic and video footage will be taken during the Meeting. By registering, you acknowledge that photographs and/or videos may be taken of you and other attendees at any time during the Meetings and may be used in media, including websites and print publications. If you do not consent please advise this in the comments section when registering or contact csanzet@theconferencecompany.com so your file can be updated.

  • Rates provided for each of the hotels are specific to the Meeting dates only


InterContinental Adelaide

  • Individual bookings
    • A credit card guarantee is required to secure your booking. Your credit card details will be securely provided to the hotel to guarantee your reservation.  Full payment will be charged to the credit card provided at 30-days before check in.  A credit card surcharge will be applied.  (see details further below) Any additional costs and incidentals incurred whilst at the hotel are to be paid on check-out  
    • If you cancel your booking on or after 26 June 2023 or fail to check-in on the arrival date you have specified the hotel will charge 100% cancellation fee equal to the total amount of room nights booked 
  • Group Bookings
    • Credit Card Details are required to secure group bookings of 15 or more rooms. Full payment will be charged to the credit card provided at 30-days before check in.  If the group is cancelled between 2 May 2023 and 26 June 2023, the credit card supplied as guarantee will be charged 20% of the full amount owed for accommodation. 
    • If the group or individual within the group cancels their reservation on or after 26 June 2023 or fail to check in on the arrival date you have specified the credit card supplied as guarantee will be charged the full amount owed for accommodation. 
  • Room configurations are subject to availability and will be requested to the hotel but cannot be guaranteed
  • All guests will be required to provide credit card details for pre-authorisation on check-in. If the guest does not wish to use their credit card then a deposit will be required on check-in
  • All guests are responsible for settling the remaining balance and any additional nights booked while at the hotel and any incidentals incurred upon departure. Please be advised the hotel will apply a surcharge to all credit card payments, payment by cash or EFTPOS will not incur a surcharge.  A surcharge of 3% will apply for Diners and JCB, and 1.5% for other cards including American Express.  
  • Buffet Breakfast is available at $30 per person per night
  • The maximum number of registered persons in these room types is 2 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children under 12 years of age. Either a cot or rollaway can be provided at no additional cost.
  • Room rates are inclusive of entrance to the gym.
  • Check-in time is 3:00pm. Check-out time is 11:00am


Playford Adelaide

  • Individual bookings
    • A credit card guarantee is required to secure your booking. Your credit card details will be securely provided to the hotel to guarantee your reservation.  Full payment will be required on check-in at the hotel.  Any additional costs and incidentals incurred whilst at the hotel are to be paid on check-out
    • If you cancel your booking on or after 26 June 2023 or fail to check-in on the arrival date you have specified, the hotel reserves the right to impose a no-show charge
  • Group Bookings
    • Credit Card Details are required to secure group bookings of 15 or more rooms. If the group is cancelled between 2 May 2023 and 26 June 2023, the credit card supplied as guarantee will be charged 20% of the full amount owed for accommodation. 
    • If the group or individual within the group cancels their reservation on or after 26 June 2023 or fail to check in on the arrival date you have specified the credit card supplied as guarantee will be charged the full amount owed for accommodation. 
  • Room configurations are subject to availability and will be requested to the hotel but cannot be guaranteed
  • All guests will be required to provide credit card details for pre-authorisation on check-in. If the guest does not wish to use their credit card then a deposit will be required on check-in

  • Check-in time is 2:00pm Sunday to Friday, 3:00pm Saturday. Check-out time is 11:00am


Adelaide Riviera Hotel

  • Individual booking 
    • A credit card guarantee is required to secure your booking. Your credit card details will be securely provided to the hotel to guarantee your reservation.  Full payment will be required on check-in at the hotel.  Any additional costs and incidentals incurred whilst at the hotel are to be paid on check-out
    • If you cancel your booking on or after 26 June 2023 or fail to check-in on the arrival date you have specified, the hotel reserves will charge a cancellation fee of 1 night’s room rate
  • Group Bookings
    • Credit Card Details are required to secure group bookings of 15 or more rooms. If the group is cancelled between 2 May 2023 and 26 June 2023, the credit card supplied as guarantee will be charged 20% of the full amount owed for accommodation. 
    • If the group or individual within the group cancels their reservation on or after 26 June 2023 or fail to check in on the arrival date you have specified the credit card supplied as guarantee will be charged the full amount owed for accommodation. 
  • Room configurations are subject to availability and will be requested to the hotel but cannot be guaranteed
  • All guests will be required to provide credit card details for pre-authorisation on check-in. If the guest does not wish to use their credit card then a deposit will be required on check-in
  • All guests are responsible for settling the remaining balance and any additional nights booked while at the hotel and any incidentals incurred upon departure.

Stamford Plaza Hotel

  • Individual Bookings
    • A credit card guarantee is required to secure your booking. Your credit card details will be securely provided to the hotel to guarantee your reservation.  A deposit of 1-night's accommodation will be charged to the credit card provided 30-days before check in.  Full payment will be required on arrival. Any additional costs and incidentals incurred whilst at the hotel are to be paid on check-out
    • If you cancel your booking on or after 12 July 2023 or fail to check-in on the arrival date you have specified, the hotel will charge one night’s room rate as a cancellation fee. If you cancel after 12 July 2023, the hotel will charge the full amount owed for accommodation. 
  • Group Bookings
    • Credit Card Details are required to secure group bookings of 15 or more rooms. A deposit of 1-night's accommodation per room booked will be charged to the credit card provided 30-days before check in. If the group is cancelled between 2 May 2023 and 26 June 2023, the credit card supplied as guarantee will be charged 20% of the full amount owed for accommodation. 
    • If the group or individual within the group cancels their reservation on or after 26 June 2023 or fail to check in on the arrival date you have specified the credit card supplied as guarantee will be charged the full amount owed for accommodation.
  • Room configurations are subject to availability and will be requested to the hotel but cannot be guaranteed
  • All guests will be required to provide credit card details for pre-authorisation on check-in, or cash deposit. This is to cover incidental charges and the balance will be refunded on departure. 
  • All guests are responsible for settling the remaining balance and any additional nights booked while at the hotel and any incidentals incurred upon departure. Please be advised the hotel will apply a surcharge to all credit card payments, payment by cash or EFTPOS will not incur a surcharge. The Surcharge will be 1.44% for any Visa and Mastercard, 1.44% surcharge for Amex and JCB, 3.44% for Diners and 1.76% China Union Pay.
  • TGS Restaurant serves a full daily buffet breakfast for $25.00 per person on a consumption basis.
  • Complimentary WiFi is available throughout the hotel
  • Self park is available to in-house guests at a charge of $30 per car per day
  • Check-in time is 2:00pm. Check-out time is 11:00am


Holiday Inn Express Adelaide City Centre

  • Individual bookings
    • A credit card guarantee is required to secure your booking. Your credit card details will be securely provided to the hotel to guarantee your reservation.  Full payment will be charged to the credit card provided at 30-days before check in.  Any additional costs and incidentals incurred whilst at the hotel are to be paid on check-out
    • If you cancel your booking on or after 26 June 2023 or fail to check-in on the arrival date you have specified, the hotel will charge 100% cancellation fee equal to the total amount of room nights booked.  Credit cards payments will incur a surcharge (listed further below).
  • Group Bookings
    • Credit Card Details are required to secure group bookings of 15 or more rooms. Full payment will be charged to the credit card provided at 30-days before check in.  If the group is cancelled between 2 May 2023 and 26 June 2023, the credit card supplied as guarantee will be charged 20% of the full amount owed for accommodation. 
    • If the group or individual within the group cancels their reservation on or after 26 June 2023 or fail to check in on the arrival date you have specified the credit card supplied as guarantee will be charged the full amount owed for accommodation. 
  • Room configurations are subject to availability and will be requested to the hotel but cannot be guaranteed
  • All guests will be required to provide credit card details for pre-authorisation on check-in
  • All guests are responsible for settling the remaining balance and any additional nights booked while at the hotel and any incidentals incurred upon departure. Please be advised the hotel will apply a surcharge to all credit card payments, payment by cash or EFTPOS will not incur a surcharge. The Surcharges are as follows
  • JCB and Diners are 3%
  • Visa and Mastercard are 1.5%
  • Free Express Start Breakfast or Grab and Go option
  • Free WiFi - unlimited and available on multiple devices.
  • The hotel does not have an onsite car park. Car parking is available offsite at Care Park on Blyth Street, next door to the hotel. The hotel has discounted exit tickets for $25 per exit available for purchase at the Front Desk.
  • Check-in time is 2:00pm. Check-out time is 10:00am

  • Individual Bookings
    • A credit card guarantee is required to secure your booking. Your credit card details will be securely provided to the hotel to guarantee your reservation.  A deposit of 1-night's accommodation will be charged to the credit card provided 30-days before check in.  Full payment will be required on arrival. Any additional costs and incidentals incurred whilst at the hotel are to be paid on check-out
    • If you cancel your booking on or after 26 June 2023 or fail to check-in on the arrival date you have specified, the hotel will charge one night’s room rate as a cancellation fee. If you cancel after 25 July 2023, the hotel will charge the full amount owed for accommodation. 
  • Group Bookings
    • Credit Card Details are required to secure group bookings of 15 or more rooms. A deposit of 1-night's accommodation per room booked will be charged to the credit card provided 30-days before check in. If the group is cancelled between 2 May 2023 and 26 June 2023, the credit card supplied as guarantee will be charged 20% of the full amount owed for accommodation. 
    • If the group or individual within the group cancels their reservation on or after 26 June 2023 or fail to check in on the arrival date you have specified the credit card supplied as guarantee will be charged the full amount owed for accommodation.
  • Room configurations are subject to availability and will be requested to the hotel but cannot be guaranteed
  • All guests will be required to provide credit card details for pre-authorisation on check-in, or cash deposit of $50.00 per room per night. This is to cover incidental charges and the balance will be refunded on departure. 
  • All guests are responsible for settling the remaining balance and any additional nights booked while at the hotel and any incidentals incurred upon departure. Please be advised the hotel will apply a surcharge to all credit card payments, payment by cash or EFTPOS will not incur a surcharge. The Surcharge will be 1.3%  for credit cards. 
  • Grab and Go Breakfast is available for an additional $15 per person
  • Complimentary WiFi is available throughout the hotel
  • Under cover parking is available to in-house guests at a charge of $20 per car per day

  • Individual bookings
    • A credit card guarantee is required to secure your booking.     • If you cancel your booking on or after 26 June 2023 or fail to check-in on the arrival date you have specified, the hotel full cancellation of room nights booked applies. 
  • Group Bookings
    • Credit Card Details are required to secure group bookings of 15 or more rooms. If the group is cancelled between 2 May 2023 and 26 June 2023, the credit card supplied as guarantee will be charged 20% of the full amount owed for accommodation. 
    • If the group or individual within the group cancels their reservation on or after 26 June 2023 or fail to check in on the arrival date you have specified the credit card supplied as guarantee will be charged the full amount owed for accommodation. 
  • Room configurations are subject to availability and will be requested to the hotel but cannot be guaranteed

    • A deposit equal to one night’s accommodation will be charged to the credit card 30 days before check-in.  Full payment will be required at check-in.  
    • Any additional costs and incidentals incurred whilst at the hotel are to be paid on check-out
    • If you cancel your booking on or after 26 June 2023 or fail to check-in on the arrival date you have specified, the hotel will charge a cancellation fee equal to all accommodation nights booked. 
  • Group Bookings
    • Credit Card Details are required to secure group bookings of 15 or more rooms. If the group is cancelled between 2 May 2023 and 26 June 2023, the credit card supplied as guarantee will be charged 20% of the full amount owed for accommodation. 
    • If the group or individual within the group cancels their reservation on or after 26 June 2023 or fail to check in on the arrival date you have specified the credit card supplied as guarantee will be charged the full amount owed for accommodation. 
  • Room configurations are subject to availability and will be requested to the hotel but cannot be guaranteed
  • All guests will be required to provide credit card details for pre-authorisation on check-in. If the guest does not wish to use their credit card then a deposit will be required on check-in
  • All guests are responsible for settling the remaining balance and any additional nights booked while at the hotel and any incidentals incurred upon departure.   • Individual bookings
    • A credit card guarantee is required to secure your booking. Your credit card details will be securely provided to the hotel to guarantee your reservation.  Full payment will be charged to the credit card provided at 30 days prior to arrival.  Any additional costs and incidentals incurred whilst at the hotel are to be paid on check-out
    • If you cancel your booking on or after 26 June 2023 or fail to check-in on the arrival date you have specified, the hotel reserves the right to impose a no-show charge
  • Group Bookings
    • Credit Card Details are required to secure group bookings of 15 or more rooms. If the group is cancelled between 2 May 2023 and 26 June 2023, the credit card supplied as guarantee will be charged 20% of the full amount owed for accommodation. 
    • If the group or individual within the group cancels their reservation on or after 26 June 2023 or fail to check in on the arrival date you have specified the credit card supplied as guarantee will be charged the full amount owed for accommodation. 
  • Room configurations are subject to availability and will be requested to the hotel but cannot be guaranteed
  • All guests will be required to provide credit card details for pre-authorisation on check-in. If the guest does not wish to use their credit card then a deposit will be required on check-in
  • All guests are responsible for settling the remaining balance and any additional nights booked while at the hotel and any incidentals incurred upon departure. Please be advised the hotel will apply a surcharge to all credit card payments, payment by cash or EFTPOS will not incur a surcharge. The Surcharge is 1.5% on all payments using a credit or debit card. 
  • Breakfast is available at the onsite Coffee Club for approx. AUD20.00 per person
  • Check-in time is 2:00pm. Check-out time is 10:00am


Hotel Grand Chancellor

  • Individual Bookings
    • A credit card guarantee is required to secure your booking. Your credit card details will be securely provided to the hotel to guarantee your reservation.  A deposit of 1-night's accommodation will be charged to the credit card provided 30-days before check in.  Full payment will be required on arrival. Any additional costs and incidentals incurred whilst at the hotel are to be paid on check-out
    • If you cancel your booking on or after 12 July 2023 or fail to check-in on the arrival date you have specified, the hotel will charge one night’s room rate as a cancellation fee. If you cancel after 12 July 2023, the hotel will charge the full amount owed for accommodation.

    • If the group or individual within the group cancels their reservation on or after 26 June 2023 or fail to check in on the arrival date you have specified the credit card supplied as guarantee will be charged the full amount owed for accommodation.
