Registration Terms and Conditions

• Full payment for registration fees must be received prior to the Meeting.
• All prices are in AUD and include Goods and Services Tax of 10%.
• Earlybird registration closes on 8 August 2024. If payment has not been received by this date, then standard rates will apply.
• If you cancel your registration prior to 8 August 2024, you will receive a refund less a cancellation fee of $100. Cancellations made after this date are non-refundable.
• If for reasons beyond the control of the organisers, the Meeting is cancelled, registration fees will be refunded after the deduction of expenses already incurred.
• By registering for the Meeting you are confirming consent for any video and photographs taken at the Meeting, in which you may appear, to be used by the Societies in promotion of the Meeting.
• By registering for the Meeting, you are consenting for your data to be captured and used as per the “Data Processing Consent Policy”. If you have any queries or concerns regarding this please contact us at blood@theconferencecompany.com. 
• The Privacy Act 1988 provides that, before your name and contact details can be published in a list of participants you must give your consent. If you select ‘Yes, I do want my details to be included in the list of participants’ in an online form or by email, your details may be distributed to:
  • Meeting delegates, sponsors and exhibitors (note that if consent is given to have your details included in the List of Participants, it is likely that sponsors may add you to their mailing lists and send promotional emails to you).
  • Organisers of future Blood events.
    
    

Participant Conduct

You will conduct yourself in a professional manner that is free from any form of discrimination, harassment, or retaliation.
You will treat all participants with respect and consideration to create a collegial, respectful, inclusive, and professional environment at Blood 2024 in person.

Legal Claim

This agreement is subject to the law of Australia. In the event of any legal claims arising from either party, Australia shall be the sole court of jurisdiction. 

Program / Social Functions

Blood 2024 reserve the right to modify the program, which is published as an indication only. 

The final numbers for social functions are confirmed with the venues 7 working days prior to the start of the meeting, registrations received after this time may not be eligible to attend the Welcome Function or Gala Dinner depending on availability.

Accommodation Terms and Conditions

• All prices are in Australian dollars and include Goods and Services Tax of 10%.
• Rates provided for each of the hotels are specific to the Meeting dates only.  
• Room configurations are subject to availability. The requested configuration will be sent to the hotel but cannot be guaranteed.
• A credit card guarantee is taken at the time of booking. The credit card will be charged by the hotel as specified below.

Emporium Hotel

• A credit card guarantee is required to secure your booking. The credit card details submitted on the booking form will be securely transferred to the hotel to charge for your full accommodation booking on or after Friday 20 September 2024.  A credit card fee will be charged by the hotel for this payment.
• If you cancel your booking between Friday 20 September 2024 and Friday 11 October 2024 you will be subject to 1 night's cancellation charge.  If you cancel your booking after Friday 11 October 2024, or fail to check-in on the arrival date you have specified, you will be subject to cancellation charges for all nights booked.  
• You will be asked to provide credit card details for pre-authorisation on check-in. If you do not wish to use your credit card then alternatively you can pay a deposit on check-in.
• You will be responsible for settling the remaining balance and any additional nights booked at the time of check-in and any incidentals incurred upon departure. Please be advised the hotel may apply a surcharge to all credit card payments, payment by cash or EFTPOS will not incur a surcharge.
• Check-in time is 3pm. Check-out time is 11am.

Hotel Indigo

• A credit card guarantee is required to secure your booking. The credit card details submitted on the booking form will be securely transferred to the hotel to charge for your full accommodation booking on or after Friday 20 September 2024.   A credit card fee will be charged by the hotel for this payment.
• If you cancel your booking on or after 20 September 2024, or fail to check-in on the arrival date you have specified, you will be subject to cancellation charges for all nights booked.
• You will be asked to provide credit card details for pre-authorisation on check-in. If you do not wish to use your credit card then alternatively you can pay a deposit on check-in.
• You will be responsible for settling the remaining balance and any additional nights booked at the time of check-in and any incidentals incurred upon departure. Please be advised the hotel may apply a surcharge to all credit card payments, payment by cash or EFTPOS will not incur a surcharge.
• Check-in time is 3pm. Check-out time is 11am.

Hyatt Regency

• A credit card guarantee is required to secure your booking. The credit card details submitted on the booking form will be securely transferred to the hotel to charge 1 night's deposit on or after Friday 20 September 2024.  A credit card fee will be charged by the hotel for this payment.  The remaining balance will be required by the hotel on check-in.
• If you cancel your booking between Friday 20 September 2024 and Monday 7 October 2024 you will be subject to 1 night's cancellation charge.  If you cancel your booking after Monday 7 October 2024, or fail to check-in on the arrival date you have specified, you will be subject to cancellation charges for all nights booked.  
• Double occupancy is a higher rate to single occupancy.
• You will be asked to provide credit card details for pre-authorisation on check-in. If you do not wish to use your credit card then alternatively you can pay a deposit on check-in.
• You will be responsible for settling the remaining balance and any additional nights booked at the time of check-in and any incidentals incurred upon departure. Please be advised the hotel may apply a surcharge to all credit card payments, payment by cash or EFTPOS will not incur a surcharge.
• Check-in time is 3pm. Check-out time is 11am.

Ibis Styles Brisbane

• A credit card guarantee is required to secure your booking. The credit card details submitted on the booking form will be securely transferred to the hotel to charge for your full accommodation booking on or after Friday 20 September 2024.   A credit card fee, currently 1.1%, will be charged by the hotel for this payment. 
• If you cancel your booking on or after 20 September 2024, or fail to check-in on the arrival date you have specified, you will be subject to full cancellation charges for all nights booked.
• You will be asked to provide credit card details for pre-authorisation on check-in. If you do not wish to use your credit card then alternatively you can pay a deposit on check-in.
• You will be responsible for settling the remaining balance and any additional nights booked at the time of check-in and any incidentals incurred upon departure. Please be advised the hotel may apply a surcharge to all credit card payments, payment by cash or EFTPOS will not incur a surcharge.
• Check-in time is 2pm. Check-out time is 11am.

Mantra South Bank 

• A credit card guarantee is required to secure your booking. The credit card details submitted on the booking form will be securely transferred to the hotel to charge for your full accommodation booking on or after Friday 20 September 2024.   A credit card fee will be charged by the hotel for this payment.
• If you cancel your booking on or after 20 September 2024, or fail to check-in on the arrival date you have specified, you will be subject to full cancellation charges for all nights booked.
• Rates are based on a minimum 2-night stay
• You will be asked to provide credit card details for pre-authorisation on check-in. If you do not wish to use your credit card then alternatively you can pay a deposit on check-in.
• You will be responsible for settling the remaining balance and any additional nights booked at the time of check-in and any incidentals incurred upon departure. Please be advised the hotel may apply a surcharge to all credit card payments, payment by cash or EFTPOS will not incur a surcharge.
• Check-in time is 2pm. Check-out time is 10am.

Novotel Brisbane South Bank 

• A credit card guarantee is required to secure your booking. The credit card details submitted on the booking form will be securely transferred to the hotel to charge for your full accommodation booking on or after Friday 20 September 2024.   A credit card fee of 1.4% will be charged by the hotel for this payment.
• If you cancel your booking on or after 20 September 2024, or fail to check-in on the arrival date you have specified, you will be subject to full cancellation charges for all nights booked.
• You will be asked to provide credit card details for pre-authorisation on check-in. If you do not wish to use your credit card then alternatively you can pay a deposit on check-in.
• You will be responsible for settling the remaining balance and any additional nights booked at the time of check-in and any incidentals incurred upon departure. Please be advised the hotel may apply a surcharge to all credit card payments, payment by cash or EFTPOS will not incur a surcharge.
• Check-in time is 2pm. Check-out time is 11am.

Rydges South Bank

• A credit card guarantee is required to secure your booking. The credit card details submitted on the booking form will be securely transferred to the hotel to charge 1 night's deposit on or after Friday 20 September 2024.  A credit card fee will be charged by the hotel for this payment.  The remaining balance will be required by the hotel on check-in.
• If you cancel your booking on or after 20 September 2024, or fail to check-in on the arrival date you have specified, you will be subject to full cancellation charges for all nights booked.
• You will be asked to provide credit card details for pre-authorisation on check-in. If you do not wish to use your credit card then alternatively you can pay a deposit on check-in.

• A credit card guarantee is required to secure your booking.  The credit card details submitted on this booking form will be securely transferred to the hotel to guarantee the reservation.  Full payment will be required directly at the hotel on check in.
• If you cancel your booking on or after 20 September 2024, or fail to check-in on the arrival date you have specified, you will be subject to full cancellation charges for all nights booked.
• You will be asked to provide credit card details for pre-authorisation on check-in. If you do not wish to use your credit card then alternatively you can pay a deposit on check-in.
• You will be responsible for settling the remaining balance and any additional nights booked at the time of check-in and any incidentals incurred upon departure. Please be advised the hotel may apply a surcharge to all credit card payments, payment by cash or EFTPOS will not incur a surcharge.

Voco Brisbane City Centre

The credit card details submitted on the booking form will be securely transferred to the hotel to charge 1 night's deposit on or after Friday 20 September 2024.  A credit card fee will be charged by the hotel for this payment.  The remaining balance will be required by the hotel on check-in.
• If you cancel your booking on or after 20 September 2024, or fail to check-in on the arrival date you have specified, you will be subject to full cancellation charges for all nights booked.
