Helen is a clinical Haematology trainee currently working at pathology Queensland’s central laboratory but has worked across the state and endeavours to work across the country, with an interest in both malignant and non-malignant Haematology particularly in immune cytopenias and general stream.

Dr Rowena Brook, MBBS, FRACP, FRCPA is an early career clinician-researcher in thrombosis and haemostasis. She is a PhD candidate with The University of Melbourne at the Northern Health Clinical School and a recipient of the Heart Foundation Postgraduate Scholarship. Rowena is also a consultant haematologist at Northern Health.

Huiwen (Wendy) Zhao is a PhD candidate at the University of Sydney researching thrombosis mechanisms. Her work investigates ERp57 regulation of von Willebrand factor (vWF) expression. She obtained First Class Honours and the Dean's Award, and is supported by a full PhD scholarship from the University of Sydney.

Dr Hannah Stevens is a clinician-researcher and haematologist whose work focuses on thrombosis, haemostasis, and anticoagulation. Based at the Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute and Royal Hobart Hospital, she undertakes translational and population-based research using large-scale linked datasets and multi-omic approaches to improve personalised thrombosis and anticoagulation care.

Mr. Yuyang Song is a PhD candidate at Melbourne Medical School and the Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute. His research focuses on developing safer and longer-lasting therapies for cardiovascular disease, particularly thrombosis prevention without increasing bleeding risk. The work presented represents a chapter of his recently submitted PhD thesis.

Dr Ke Xu is a PhD candidate at the ANZAC Research Institute, and a clinical/laboratory haematologist. His research interests incude thrombosis biomarker in myeloproliferative neoplasms and inherited platelet disorders.
