Geoff Hill is a medical graduate of the University of Auckland and Hematologist, training in New Zealand and The Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. He was the PI of a large transplant immunology laboratory and a Transplant Physician in Brisbane, Australia between 2000 and 2018 which focused on the interactions between cytokines, antigen presenting cells and T cell differentiation. His laboratory developed a number of seminal paradigms in the field that have instructed clinical practice and have been published in NEJM, Science, Nature Medicine, Immunity, Nature Immunology, Science Immunology and Blood. His work has identified new therapeutics that have now been FDA approved. Prof. Hill moved to The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle, USA in 2018 to take up the Jose Carreras/E. Donnall Thomas Endowed Chair for Cancer Research and the Director role for Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation. He is also Senior Vice President and the Head of the Translational Science and Therapeutics Division at Fred Hutch. Within the USA, his laboratory has developed new multiome, in vivo imaging with classical immunology approaches to study aberrant and tumor-specific immune responses in tissue after both transplantation and cell therapy that have led to a number of new NIH-funded preclinical and translational clinical studies.

A/Prof Shaun Fleming is the head of the myeloid diseases service at The Alfred Hospital and a conjoint associate professor of haematology at the Australian Centre for Blood Diseases, Monash University. He has a particular interest in acute leukaemia, and is co-ordinating principal investigator of the Australasian Leukaemia and Lymphoma Group ALL08 study. Shaun is also co-chair of the ALL working party of the ALLG. His research interests in acute leukaemia include the use of measurable disease monitoring, novel prognostication strategies and application of novel therapies to up-front management of acute leukaemia.

Professor, Department of Medicine, University of Melbourne and Sir Peter MacCallum Department of Oncology, University of Melbourne. He is the Deputy Director of Clinical Haematology and Head of the BMT Service at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. He is the director of the ACRF Translational Research Laboratory at Royal Melbourne Hospital and has supervised >20 higher degree students. As Director of the MRV Centre for Research excellence in Bone Marrow Biology, he is a leader in philanthropic support and strategic direction of bone marrow failure research. He is a past president of the HSANZ and past deputy chair of the ALLG. He is an invited reviewer and contributor to multiple journals including Blood, Blood Advances, BJH, JCO and Cell. His clinical and translational research is specifically on the immunology and immunotherapy of blood cancers and the immunology of allogeneic transplantation and bone marrow failure. He has published and presented his work widely with over 250 peer-reviewed publications, and presented at international meetings including ASH, EHA, EBMT and ASBMT.

Clinton is an allogeneic stem cell transplant physician and haematologist at Auckland City Hospital. After completing his medical and haematology training in Canada he was BMT fellow at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston prior to taking a consultant role in Auckland. He has an interest in transplant for MF, GVHD prevention, and health system improvement.

Matt current works for the pharmacy department at Fiona Stanley Hospital as a senior haematology pharmacist with a focus on BMT, acute leukaemia, and CAR-T therapy.
