Dr Danny Hsu is a consultant clinical and laboratory haematologist based at Liverpool Hospital, Sydney, and current President of THANZ. He is Director of Immune Haematology and Director of Obstetric Haematology, with clinical and research interests spanning thrombosis, haemostasis, immune haematology, complement-mediated disorders, PNH, aHUS and ITP. Dr Hsu is an active clinical researcher, educator, and mentor.

Danielle works alongside patients, healthcare professionals, and researchers to improve education, awareness, research participation, and patient-centred care.

Drawing on his lived experience with PNH, Chhean is committed to improving awareness, education and support for patients and their families. Through his leadership, the association advocates on behalf of the PNH community, helping ensure patient perspectives are represented in healthcare, access, and policy discussions.
