Suzanne Trudel is a Full Professor of Medicine at the University of Toronto and a Clinician Scientist and Staff Hematologist at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. Dr Trudel is has previously served as a member of the steering committee of the Multiple Myeloma Research Consortium (MMRC) and a member of the subcommittee on Plasma Cell biology for the American Society of Hematology (ASH). She is currently a special expert member of the National Cancer Institute myeloma steering committee, and a member of Myeloma Canada advisory board. Her research focus has been in the areas novel drug development which involved identification and validation of new therapeutic targets, development of novel platforms to support clinical trials of personalized medicine and Phase I/II clinical trials. Dr Trudel’s work has been published in numerous referenced journals including the New England Journal of Medicine, Nature Medicine, Lancet Oncology, Nature Communications, the Journal of Clinical Oncology and Blood.

Prof. Joy Ho is Clinical Professor, University of Sydney and Senior Staff Specialist, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. President of the Haematology Society of Australia & New Zealand 2013-15. Member of International Myeloma Working group, on the Scientific Advisory Board, International Myeloma Foundation. Currently Principal Investigator, ALLG MM16 myeloma clinical trial.
