Jo Tan is a haematologist researching ways to improve outcomes for patients undergoing bone marrow transplantation. She has received several awards, including an NHMRC PhD Scholarship supporting her work. Jo values compassionate communication and believes strong relationships with patients and colleagues are central to better care.

Dr. Phillip Nguyen is a clinical haematologist at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. He is curerntly completing his phD supervised by Professor Mark Dawson. His research interests centre on the synthetic biology and genetic engineering of haematopoietic stem cells for translational application.

Dr Patrick Lawrence is a dual-trained haematologist at Princess Alexandra Hospital with an interest in acute myeloid leukaemia. He researches machine learning for haematologic diagnosis and prognosis, is a Medical Monitor for the ALLG NBCR, a member of the ALLG AML Special Working Party and an Associate Lecturer at UQ.

Dr Helen Cashman is a haematologist with interests in lymphoma biology and novel therapies. She completed an international fellowship at UCLH, followed by a lymphoma fellowship at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney. She is currently undertaking a PhD using spatial methodologies to investigate mechanisms of treatment resistance in large B-cell lymphoma.

Dr. Jacques Malherbe is a consultant haematologist at Royal Perth Hospital. He completed his haematology training in WA at Fiona Stanley and Royal Perth Hospitals. He is also an adjunct clinical lecturer at the University of Western Australia. His interests include acute leukaemias, myeloproliferative neoplasms, digital pathology, translational research and house plants.

Dr Miles Ma is the molecular Haematology fellow at SydPath St Vincent's Hospital, looking to complete the RCPA Module 3 and 4 exams by 2027. Mr Stephen Bye is a Hospital Scientist at SydPath. His work includes molecular testing, assay validation, and implementation of laboratory workflows for clinical diagnostic use.

Adam is a Senior Staff Specialist Haematologist at Liverpool Hospital in South Western Sydney (SWS) and a Conjoint Senior Lecturer with the University of New South Wales. He is the current President and NSW Councillor of the Haematology Society of Australia and New Zealand. At Liverpool Hospital, Adam leads the Myeloma and Plasma Cell Disorders Unit and serves as Deputy Director of the Transplant and Cellular Therapies Unit, where he is overseeing the development of the hospital’s standard-of-care CAR-T cell program for myeloma. Through the SWS Local Health District’s Haematology Clinical Research Unit, Adam has been Principal Investigator for numerous myeloma clinical trials, both industry-sponsored and collaborative. He is also a member of the Myeloma Working Party of the Australasian Leukaemia and Lymphoma Group and the Medical and Scientific Advisory Group (MSAG) of Myeloma Australia.
