Biography

Megha Kadian is a PhD student currently in her final year at the University of Sydney. Throughout her candidature she has worked on developing novel anticoagulant vectors for cardioembolic stroke. Her areas of interest largely centre around emerging gene therapies and their applications in various cardiovascular disease.

Biography

Dr. Qiao is currently working at the Blood Disease Institute, Xuzhou Medical University as a Research Fellow. His current research interest focuses on thrombosis and hemostasis involving uncovering the mechanism of platelet activation and thrombus formation as well as the relationship between inflammation and thrombosis using genetic knockout mice.

Biography

A/Prof Blyth is a haematologist, stem cell transplant physician and research academic. She is the Clinical Lead for the Immune Effector Cell Service in the Westmead Blood transplant and Cell Therapy Program. She has research interests in the development and clinical translation of cell therapies for patients with haematological disorders.
