Pieter is an Endocrinologist at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland. He has a strong interest in health equity and enhancing community-based care pathways to improve health care access. Pieter is involved in community outreach to both metropolitan and rural / remote areas and is the medical lead for the Diabetes Street Hub, an integrated community-based service that aims to deliver better diabetes care for people experiencing housing instability including homelessness.

She collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to support quality use of medicines and clinical education to achieve the best medication outcome for each individual. Jane is a credentialled diabetes educator and FANZCAP (Endocrinology).
