Janine lives in South West WA and works 4 part time jobs as she slows down from a full time nursing role. Her roles include working for in a pharmacy as a CDE, working for WACHS as a CDE, marking and teaching at UTAS and providing private Diabetes Education

Professor Bodil Rasmussen has worked in a variety of clinical, management, education and research roles across a range of public and tertiary health care settings. She held Course Directorship for the Graduate Certificate in Diabetes for 20 years. She leads multi-disciplinary local and international teams in diabetes and multimorbidity.

Diane Gargya is a pharmacist, credentialled diabetes educator, and PhD candidate at RMIT University. Her research uses co-design to explore patient-centred diabetes care in culturally diverse communities. With over ten years in pharmacy, she also contributed to the FIP Diabetes Handbook and works across education, health coaching, and diabetes management.

Wayne Dawson is an experienced Diabetes Nurse Educator who has worked at Royal Melbourne Hospital for over 10 years. His particular area of interest is in the emerging technologies of Continuous Glucose Monitoring and Hybrid Closed Loop Insulin Pumps. These technologies will greatly assist patients to manage their diabetes.

Angela Martin is an Aged and Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner and Credentialled Diabetes Educator (CDE) at Hunter Primary Care. She has broad experience in complex care and focuses on improving diabetes management in Residential Aged Care Homes through clinical governance, staff education, and person-centred approaches that enhance safety and outcomes.
