He undertakes basic and clinical research on MAFLD, hepatitis C, liver cancer and liver fibrosis. He is a current senior Editor for Seminars in Liver Disease and Journal of Hepatology Reports. He was a previous Associate Editor for Journal of Hepatology and previous Chair of the Australian Liver Faculty.
