Biography

Dr Thomas Dover MBBS (Hons 1) FRACP, BHSc (Dietetics: Hons), BAppSc (Exercise Science) Endocrinologist, Dietitian, Exercise Physiologist. Tom is the Director of Endocrinology at Ipswich hospital, works across the Mater hospital South Brisbane, Indigenous clinics in Ipswich, Bundaberg and Rockhampton, Heart of Australia (rural Qld) and private practice. Prior to medicine he completed degrees in exercise science, and nutrition and dietetics, working both as an exercise physiologist and dietitian in the community and public hospitals. Outside of medicine Tom is an avid long distance runner, having completed over 20 marathons.

Biography

Beth Knight is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian and Credentialed Diabetes Educator with a Diploma in Fitness. Beth has been working as within Diabetes for nearly 22 years. She is an insulin pump and CGM trainer and has been working rurally the majority of her career. She works currently in her own private practice, Knight Allied Health Care, in Bundaberg, and for fun, Beth likes to put her body to the test playing Rebound Beach Volleyball.

Biography

Dr Thomas Grace’s journey with diabetes began at just three years old on a road trip with his family stop since his diagnosis, Tom has experienced 38 years of evolution in diabetes treatments and technologies. His life, and ultimately his patients’, changed when a Dexcom representative visited his office and offered him a Dexcom CGM to try. Fast forward to today and Tom is helping his patients gain better control of their diabetes with the help of Dexcom CGM. “Having worn one myself for six years and seeing what happens when I have behaviour X, Y and Z, I can help patients through things that are doing right”.
