Sarah and Kathryn are both clinical psychologists with extensive experience in health psychology. They work in multidisciplinary public hospital metabolic clinics and have collaborated with people living with obesity to enhance systems of care.

Biography
Sarah Lam is the senior clinical psychologist at Bankstown Hospital Diabetes Centre. With over twenty years of experience in public and private diabetes and metabolic clinics, she has unique insights into the daily challenges of living with diabetes and obesity. This includes understanding how clinician-consumer interactions can either help or hinder health behaviour change.
Sarah aims to provide practical strategies and tips that can be integrated into routine diabetes care. She regularly presents to healthcare professionals and has published articles in diabetes journals.

Biography
Since graduating from UNSW with a Masters in Clinical Psychology in1995, Kathryn has provided clinical psychology services to people across the lifespan. Kathryn currently works at the Nepean Family Metabolic Health Service providing clinical psychology services to people living with severe and complex obesity. In addition she works at the Canterbury Hospital Arthritis and Osteoporosis Centre assisting people living with osteoarthritis to engage with health behaviour change, manage pain and improve quality of life.
