Prof Wah Cheung is a former President of the Australian Diabetes Society, Chair of the National Association of Diabetes Centres, and Board member of Diabetes Australia. He is a current co-chair of the NSW ACI Endocrine Network. Inpatient hyperglycaemia and its management is one of his main research interests.

Brett was appointed to the Diabetes Australia Board of Directors in 2018 and ADEA Board 2016. He is Manager of Diabetes Services at Central Coast Local Health District in New South Wales. Brett is a Credentialled Diabetes Educator and has had type 1 diabetes for 30 years.
Brett is a member of the New South Wales Agency for Clinical Innovation (ACI) – Diabetes Taskforce, he has been an associate investigator on a number of studies regarding management of type 1 diabetes, he is co-author of “Flex IT” – Flexible insulin therapy and coordinated a national diabetes prevention program “Reset Your Life”. He is Immediate Past President of the Australian Diabetes Educators Association.

Greg is a clinical pharmacist and passionate self-confessed clinical research addict. He is motivated by the desire to positively change clinical practice. His areas of interest include all things diabetes, with a special focus on stress-induced hyperglycemia and its evolving management within the hospital setting, which has very much shaped his clinical and research directions. Other areas of clinical focus include development of clinical decision support systems to assist prescribing, anticoagulants, post-op analgesia, and deprescribing.
