Dr Tomasz Block is second year Advanced Trainee in Endocrinology and Adjunct Research Associate in the Monash University Department of Diabetes in Melbourne. He has several areas of research interest including novel biomarkers and therapies targeting vascular diabetic complications, particularly nephropathy and cardiovascular disease as well as metabolic obesity management.

Weikun is currently a PhD candidate at Adelaide Medical School, The University of Adelaide. His work focuses on understanding the secretion of islet and gut hormones in health and type 2 diabetes through a combination of clinical and basic studies with the development of innovative research platforms.

Rodney is currently undertaking a PhD in clinical epidemiology at The University of Melbourne and have a particular interest in the field of epidemiology, biostatistics and data science. His current research focuses on Diabetic Kidney Disease and specifically looking at diagnostic performance of current estimating equations.

Dr. Hye Jin Kwon (MBBS,BMedSc,MMED(OphthSc)) is an Endocrinology Research Fellow at The University of Melbourne and St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne. Prior to her clinical training, she dedicated a research year to exploring her interests in advocating for improved quality of life in people living with diabetes, with a specific focus on driving and eye health.

Dr Clara Nalbandian is an Endocrinology and Diabetes Registrar, Alfred Health and Cardiometabolic Clinical Research Fellow at Monash University, School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine.

Dr Lisa Raven is an Endocrinologist, working at St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney. She has an interest in diabetes and endocrine pathologies associated with solid organ transplant, and is a PhD Candidate at UNSW and the Garvan Institute of Medical Research, focussed on diabetes after cardiac transplantation.

Dr Mahesh Umapathysivam is an Endocrinologist and researcher based in Adelaide, South Australia. He has a DPhil from the University of Oxford in the genetic of type 2 diabetes. His research interest include, diabetes physiology, genetics, SGLT2i and GLP-1RA.
