Callum’s main research interest is the effects of exercise in metabolic disease and it’s complications – particularly liver related.

Dr Chaubey is senior staff specialist ( Endocrinology) who has enriched experience from Far North Queensland ( FNQ) as Endocrinology trainee and later as a consultant Endocrinologist. He also worked in India as endocrinologist after getting FRACP ( Endocrinology and General Medicine) qualification which helped him in acquiring different perspective for health care delivery in resource constrained and busy clinical set up. His had served in the role of Adjunct lecturer ( Clinical) , Faculty of Medicine, Health and Molecular Sciences, School of Medicine and Dentistry, James Cook University, Townsville and Cairns Campus, Qld, and as Conjoint lecturer (Clinical), Faculty of Medicine and Public Health University of Newcastle, Newcastle, NSW.
He is actively involved in development of model of care for people with obesity and metabolic syndrome in underprivileged population of FNQ and also fracture liaison service for minimal trauma fracture in CHHHS.
