Dr. Hye Jin Kwon (MBBS,BMedSc,MMED(OphthSc)) is an Endocrinology Research Fellow at The University of Melbourne. Prior to her clinical training, she dedicated a research year to exploring her interests in advocating for improved quality of life in people living with diabetes, with a specific focus on driving and eye health.

Dr Diana MacKay is a clinician-researcher within the Diabetes Across the Lifecourse: Northern Australia Partnership, with expertise is in mixed-methods research and program evaluation, in the areas of diabetes and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health. Diana is an Endocrinologist and the Clinical Lead for Diabetes at Royal Darwin Hospital.

Dr Evelyn Parr is a doctoral research fellow within the Exercise and Nutrition Research Program. Her research focuses on the timing of eating and the timing of exercise on modifying glycaemia and body composition for those with and at risk of type 2 diabetes.

She has an interest in diabetes and endocrine pathologies associated with solid organ transplant, and is a PhD Candidate at UNSW and the Garvan Institute of Medical Research, focussed on diabetes after cardiac transplantation.

Mr Matthew Quigley has recently completed a PhD from work with the Australian National Diabetes Audit (ANDA), based at Monash University, Melbourne. This work has provided a unique opportunity to develop and test changes in consultation with stakeholders, to optimise the utility of this important benchmarking data for end users.

Dr Cong Xie is a postdoctoral research fellow at The University of Adelaide. His research focuses on understanding the important role of the gut in glucose metabolism in both health and type 2 diabetes and the translation of these novel insights into improved therapy for type 2 diabetes.
