A/Prof d’Emden is the Director of Department of Endocrinology and Diabetes at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. Michael was involved in the development of the Electronic Health Record used by Qld Health and the development of Australian Insulin In-patient management chart.

Professor Elif Ekinci is a clinician scientist and an academic endocrinologist. Her research is focused on the pathophysiology, prevention, detection and treatment of diabetes and its complications in humans. She collaborates with people to pave a path forward to translate discoveries into solutions that can change clinical practice.

A/Prof Glastras is a clinician researcher; Senior Staff Specialist in Endocrinology at the Royal North Shore Hospital and Associate Professor at the Kolling Institute, University of Sydney. She currently holds the Australian Diabetes Society Skip Martin Fellowship undertaking prediction modelling of gestational diabetes and Training Lead of the TTRA-funded ACADI.

Associate Professor Samantha Hocking is an Endocrinologist at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and a Clinical Academic at the University of Sydney. She is the current President of the National Association of Clinical Obesity Services. Her research interests are focused on the metabolic complications of obesity.

Joey Kaye is a consultant endocrinologist and Head of Department, Diabetes and Endocrinology at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. He is a UWA Clinical Senior Lecturer and is Vice Chair of Diabetes Research WA. He completed his PhD in stress neuroendocrinology at the Henry Wellcome Laboratories for Integrative Neuroscience in Bristol, UK.

Dr Ted Wu is a senior staff specialist endocrinologist and the Director of the Diabetes Centre at The Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, Australia, a visiting endocrinologist at Dubbo Base Hospital and an Honorary Professor at the Shijiazhuang Diabetes Hospital in Hebei, China.
