Dr Stephanie Pirotta is an accredited practising dietitian and research fellow at School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Monash University, ever trying to juggle the life of a clinician and researcher. This program is now being continued and has been implemented and adapted within the Monash Health PCOS clinic. Transferring her skills of lifestyle management and implementation science, she now leads a small team of clinicians on a large dementia prevention behaviour change trial called BetterBrains, and also partners with other researchers internationally to work on smaller lifestyle-orientated PCOS research projects. Her passion for women's health has also led her to start a women's health nutrition clinic called Womanly Nutrition and Dietetics, where she provides specialised nutrition therapy to help people best manage their PCOS, endometriosis and/or fertility.
