This symposium will cover insights and discussion on the evidence base for type 2 diabetes prevention and remission, implications for policy and service delivery, and future opportunities for impact and reform in Australia. The session will draw on Diabetes Australia’s own position statements, involvement in/ support for prevent and remission research studies, and experience in type 2 diabetes prevention program/ service delivery. The session will also leverage insights from speakers at the forefront of type 2 diabetes prevention and remission.
