ASUM25 Win My Accommodation Competition

Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility 
   The ASUM25 Win My Accommodation competition is open to all paying delegates who register and pay to attend ASUM25 and book their accommodation at one of the two participating hotels, The Oaks Wellington Hotel, or TRYP by Wyndham, on or before 30 May 2025.
   Entrants must be 18 years or older. Employees and immediate family members of ASUM are not eligible to participate. Only one entry per person will be accepted. 
2. How to enter 
   Entrants must register for ASUM25 by the competition closing date above.  Entry into this competition implies full acceptance of these terms and conditions.  
3. Prizes 
   There are two prizes available, one at each participating hotel. Each winner will receive a prize consisting of two nights’ accommodation (Friday 10 October 2025 and Saturday 11 October 2025) at the participating hotel that they booked when registering for ASUM25, limited to The Oaks Wellington Hotel, or TRYP by Wyndham. Each prize does not include any extra charges, such as breakfast, mini-bar, and other incidentals on offer by the participating hotel. The value of each prize ranges from NZ$440-$600. Each prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.  
4. Prize draw  
   The prize draw will take place on Thursday 5 June 2025. A winner for each hotel prize will be selected at random from all eligible entries. The decision of ASUM25 is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 
5. Notification 
   The winner will be notified via email and/or phone within seven days of the competition's closing. If the winner cannot be contacted within seven days following notification, a new winner may be randomly selected from the remaining eligible entries. 
6. Publicity 
   The winner for each draw will be published on the ASUM25 website. By entering the competition, entrants consent to ASUM25 using their first name and city for promotional purposes. For example, James from Sydney has won two nights’ free accommodation.  This will be limited to ASUM25 e-news, ASUM25 social media, and the ASUM25 website.  
7. Privacy 
   Any personal information provided will be used in accordance with ASUM25’s privacy policy.
8. Disqualification 
   ASUM25 reserves the right to disqualify entries that are in breach of these terms and conditions or are deemed inappropriate or offensive. 
9. Limitation of liability 
   ASUM25 will not be held responsible for technical failures or lost entries. Entrants agree to release ASUM25 from any liability arising from their participation in the competition. 
10. Governing Law 
    These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand. 
11. Modification or Termination 
    ASUM25 reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the competition at any time without notice.
