With inclusivity and environmental sustainability arising as challenges in global education programming, Global-at-Home approaches have never been more important. As student awareness of the impact of travel on climate change grows, opportunities to engage globally without travel is key to addressing these concerns. Recent events have demonstrated not only the possibilities of engaging globally from one’s own institution, they have also facilitated new partnerships, audiences and experiences. Global-at-Home provides opportunities for students gain skills in intercultural communication and develop global perspectives all without having to jump on a plane.
