Details

This paper highlights a new model drawn in partnership between the Council of Professors, Malaysia and ICEF GmbH, Germany in building a new landscape of international education that is based on tranches of a “New Academia” for student recruitment. The model is derived from a detailed 15-year annual survey data that was collected from 2007 to 2022, of over 600 student recruitment agents from 62 countries - including those currently working in the Asia-Paciic region. The 15-year annual survey is unique in its frequency, reach, and level of detail - comparing perspectives of agents around the world and gaining fresh insights into how they are adapting and responding to global issues and challenges. Each survey cycle features questions on day-to-day agency operations, recruitment projections, destination attractiveness, student decision factors, and other market trends.
