Gabrielle is Senior Policy Advisor in the International Education Division of Canada’s ministry of foreign affairs, Global Affairs Canada. Within the team, Gabrielle is responsible for bilateral relations and policy advice, with primary responsibility for the Asia-Pacific region. Gabrielle previously served at the Embassy of Canada to Haiti and in the Southern and Eastern Africa Bilateral Relations Division at Global Affairs Canada. Before joining the public service, she worked at Universities Canada as a project coordinator for ERA-Can+, a European Commission funded project aiming to build ties between European and Canadian researchers and academics.

Mr. Oussamah Tamim is Deputy Director in the International Education Division of Canada’s ministry of foreign affairs, Global Affairs Canada. He is responsible for coordinating the work of education officers at diplomatic missions abroad, and managing their use of the EduCanada brand for promotional activities. Mr. Tamim joined Canada’s Foreign Service in 2000 and held multiple positions at headquarters and abroad, including media relations, economic policy for APEC, trade policy and assignments in Warsaw, Shanghai, Beijing and Chongqing. Mr. Tamim has an academic background in political science and law.

Prof. A.N. Brijesh Nair has over nine years of experience in developing various International Academic and Research Collaborations, International Student Mobility which includes designing transfer programs that allow students to obtain dual degrees, dual degrees with partner Universities. He is currently workings as a Professor and Director in the Office of International Affairs and Global Initiatives in O P Jindal Global University.

Professor Unaisi Nabobo-Baba joined FNU as Professor of Educational Research at the School of Education in 2017. She attained her bachelor’s degree, postgraduate and masters from The University of the South Pacific and PhD from the University of Auckland. Professor Nabobo-Baba specialises in the areas of higher education development in the Small Island States of the Pacific, Teacher Education, Educational Research and indigenous knowledge and education.
