Details

"Global Citizenship" has become an important focus in all sectors. University graduates should be able to communicate and work with people from different countries and cultural backgrounds. International Education builds a model to support and train students in global thinking, emerging skills and technical knowledge, and appreciates the different milestones of the organisations they work with to support the country's economic growth. Universities should prepare and develop mechanisms to build platforms to support this emerging trend. University rankings are widely used as a key indicator for assessing a university's ability to succeed and for students to choose the right university for further study. With increased global exposure, international education does play a key role in driving university rankings. The panel session aims to discuss and identify key parameters that universities should focus on in order to support their goals, enhance their global reputation and attract high-quality students. Learning Objectives: • Discuss the current international education systems. • Identify key parameters important to support international education. • Consider the right strategies for improving university rankings through the support from international education. Target Audience: Students, senior management of universities, industrialists, researchers, and academics. Target Audience Level: Intermediate, Advanced
