Details
How can global universities position themselves effectively within key sending countries, especially in the Asia-Pacific region, to attract right-match international students? A panel of seasoned university enrollment management leaders, representing a diverse cross-section of institutions, and with deep international experience, will evaluate trends in established and emerging markets to provide insights related to the future of international student recruitment.
Special focus will be applied to what is happening in Asia now. While China remains (by many magnitudes) the largest sender of international students to universities in Asia and to most major host countries, the patterns of mobility are changing. India’s dynamic demographic diversity offers incredible promise, while its undergraduate student mobility remains relatively modest. Other regions, such as Southeast Asia, sub-Saharan Africa, and the Southern Cone, also suggest future growth.
This interactive session will outline evidence-based approaches and best practices for engaging with these countries, now and into the future. Our discussion will explore how universities can innovate & adapt their approaches to global outreach, recruitment, & engagement, and respond proactively & effectively to recent shifts in student mobility & decision-making during the pandemic.
Unique, proprietary data will inform actionable insights targeted to higher education outreach & enrollment professionals.
