Western Sydney University (WSU) is ranked # 1 in the world for its social, ecological and economic impact in the latest Times Higher Education University Impact Rankings. This session shares case studies and best practices employed by WSU’s international mobility team and faculty to continue advancing UN Sustainable Development Goals even through the pandemic, using innovative program design and partnership models. Through illustrations and video interviews with academics, students and host organisations, participants will learn how to use hybrid and HyFlex models of delivering courses to expand access to students while advancing UN SDGs through education abroad. The session also highlights symbiotic partnership models that align goals of the University, academics, students, providers and host organisations to collectively help students learn about and apply themselves to solving global sustainability challenges.
