Prof Cheung is a former President of the Australian Diabetes Society. He is the Director of Diabetes & Endocrinology at Westmead Hospital. He has a long-standing research and clinical interest in the management of diabetes in the hospital environment.

Gil is a medical graduate from the University of Melbourne, who is currently practising as a BPT2 medical registrar at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Victoria.

I'm Paul, a final year general medicine advanced trainee, originally from Ireland but now calling Melbourne home. I have a keen interest in Diabetes and Endocrinology and hope to specialise in that field following my general medicine training.

Alex is currently undertaking his 2nd year in Endocrinology advanced training at Austin Health in Melbourne, after completing his 1st year at Royal Melbourne Hospital and Albury Wodonga Health. He has a keen interest in all things diabetes but particularly enjoys inpatient diabetes care and the clinical applications of diabetes technology.

William Kuang is a fifth-year medical student at the University of New South Wales. Last year, he conducted his Honours research on dysglycaemic outcomes following heart transplantation, a project that he has continued to pursue this year.

Heba Nassar is a clinical research scientist- medical advisor for Diabetes and Chronic Kidney Disease at Eli Lilly Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Clinical Pharmacy degree and has extensive experience in advanced wound management before transitioning into the cardio-renal-metabolic disease field. Her current research interests focus on risk management for patients with type 2 diabetes and chronic kidney disease, as well as health equity for minority groups.

Mahalia McEvoy and Priyal Shah are experienced podiatrists with a passion for diabetic foot care. After completing the Doctor of Podiatric Medicine, they have worked alongside the Multidisciplinary Foot Ulcer team at Fiona Stanley Hospital. They are both excited to present their findings on foot ulcer recurrence at the ADC.

Stephanie is an Endocrine Advanced Trainee currently completing her second year of training at St Vincent's Hospital in Sydney. Her first year of training was completed at the Canberra Hospital.
