Donna Wellins is currently the Education Project Manager for the Australian Diabetes Educators Association (ADEA). Donna has led projects in the design of innovative, evidence-based microcredentials for the generalist and diabetes healthcare workforce aimed at enhancing their knowledge and skills and improving the care of people living with diabetes. Donna is a Credentialled Diabetes Educator and a Credentialled Advanced Practice Pharmacist. She previously owned several community pharmacies and is currently the Director of a GP practice providing diabetes education and home medication reviews services to the North Brisbane community.
