Biography

Nada Bechara is a senior podiatrist at Western Sydney Local Health District and works at the High Risk Foot Service at Blacktown Hospital. Nada commenced her PhD in July 2021 with Professor Jenny Gunton as her primary supervisor, where they are investigating the effects of vitamin C and zinc supplementation on diabetes-related foot ulceration.

Dr Lisa Raven is an endocrinologist at St Vincent's Hospital Sydney. She is currently undertaking a PhD assessing the metabolic, cardiac and renal outcomes of SGLT2 inhibitors in heart transplantation. Dr Raven is a conjoint lecturer at the University of New South Wales and involved in the ADS education program.
