Alison is the Portfolio Manager for Chronic Disease services with Marathon Health, based in Dubbo NSW. She is a credentialed diabetes educator with more than 17 years working in Primary Health care, and currently leads a team of 5 diabetes educators to provide outreach diabetes education clinics across rural communities in Western NSW. She has extensive experience working with First Nations communities, delivering services into the Wellington, Dubbo, Gilgandra and Coonamble Aboriginal Health services, and supports the coordination and delivery of the Indigenous Chronic Disease clinic at Bathurst. She is an advocate for workforce growth and development across her footprint and supports the delivery of place-based care to meet community needs.
